About Me

Rob has more than 25 years of experience providing guidance to individuals about their investments. After practicing law for six years, Rob entered the financial services industry in 1997. Rob joined Stifel in 2009 after having worked at both Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch. He earned a B.A. from Vassar College and a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law. Using an investment planning process, Rob specializes in helping people who are fearful their assets may not produce enough income for them throughout retirement.

In addition, Rob earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc., which identifies those individuals who have met the experience requirements of the CFP Board, have successfully completed financial planning coursework, and have passed the CFP® Certification Examination. Rob also holds Series 7 and 63 securities licenses, as well as life, health, and variable insurance licenses.

Within the community, Rob has served as President and Vice President of the Rotary and as a Warden for Saint Mary the Virgin Church, both in Chappaqua, New York, where he resides. He has also served as Vassar Class Treasurer and as an alumni interviewer for Vassar College.

Rob is married, and lives in Chappaqua, New York, with his wife, Marianne. Their daughter, Elizabeth, earned her Ph.D. in mathematics from The Ohio State University and works as a mathematician and data scientist for the Imageomics Institute.
